Conservation lamppost installed but never connected to electricity
Reported via desktop in the Street light not working category anonymously at 16:25, Tue 6 October 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2328677.
This lamppost is just "cosmetic". It was installed a few years ago but has never been connected to the electricity so does not work. Instead, a "bog standard" light a few yards away, attacced to a telegraph pole" is the one that lights the street. What on earth was the point of going to a lot of expense installing a "conservation" lamppost but never use it?

Been reported for a month now. Observed some contractors tinkering around but light still does not come on. Nobody has contacted us to give us an update.

It is Bucks Council's responsibility and they have been in touch offering options on how to fix the problem. We've agreed the way forward - they just need to get it done now!
