Street Lamp 020 outside 117 Elmhurst Road

Reported via desktop in the Street light not working category anonymously at 20:04, Tuesday 6 October 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

This is third time in the last few months that I have reported this street lamp as not working. Additionally each time the street lamp 021 on other side of Elmhurst Road is also defective at same time! On each previous occasion repairs have been effected to get these lamps working but again they are now defective? Is their a more significant issue here with these lamps?

  • The repair process has identified that there is a fault with the electricity supply and an order has been issued to the relevant supplier to repair. In light of the ongoing COVID 19 crisis an element of our electricity suppliers workforce has reduced by the need for self-isolation. This regrettably means that for the immediate future some work will have to be delayed. We apologise for any possible delay in addressing your report and hope that you will understand in the circumstances.
