Opposite property Hillsbrough and 2 The Firs, Duffield Lane, SL2
Reported via desktop in the Ditch issue category anonymously at 10:32, Sun 25 October 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2356158.
Ditch/stream has not been cleared by the Council for over 5 years (or longer). It is now extremely clogged with growing vegetation; fallen leaves and dumped bags of waste. Despite other parts of Duffield Lane being cut, the hedgerow in this area has also not been cut or maintained for over 5 years. This means the ditch cannot cope with rainfall and regularly overflows into the road itself, flooding this stretch and being a danger to drivers, pedestrians and residents. This is further impacted by overflowing from the drains. The drain outside Hillsbrough particularly overflows well after the rain has stopped, gushing even more water/sewage? into the road. It is a worsening problem which needs urgent action from the Council please.
