The Greenway Tylers Green

Good morning Is there any possibility please to have 30mph repeater signs in our road? The Greenway is used as a 'rat run' and particularly since the first 'Lockdown' the speed of much of the traffic has increased in spite of there being 2 x 90 degree bends. Our road is now having new gas mains laid and in effect the road is mostly a building site with obstructions everywhere but the road has remained open although it is to closed for 7 days from tomorrow. The workers are excellent and friendly but they have to negotiate working in the road with inconsiderate drivers going past at top speed. I noticed one on Friday also on the phone. Other roads very local to us (such as Wheeler Avenue) have 30 mph repeater signs and that road is a cul be sac. It would be marvellous to have such signs in place once the gas works have finished please. The Greenway is used as a cut through road that is below normal width and has vehicles parked most of the time with articulated lorries at times parked to service the supermarket in Kings Ride Thank you so much for at least reading this Derek Colegrave 10 The Greenway HP10 8BT
