End of road markings have almost totally faded away
Reported via desktop in the Road lines / road markings category anonymously at 17:28, Thu 12 November 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2384648.
This is a blind junction when exiting left out of Shelley Road onto Gunthorpe Road, due to a wall restricting driver's view. Cars park opposite the junction, meaning that vehicles travelling along Gunthorpe Road move into the middle of the road. Without road markings, vehicles are failing to stop at the end of Shelley Road and there have been multiple near misses. Unfortunately, yesterday this resulted in an RTA with two cars colliding and blocking the only access into and out of the estate. Unbelievably, exactly the same was witnessed again today by a neighbour - but with a more fortunate ending as one car was able to avert from the colliding.
Please can we have the lines reinstated as a matter of urgency as this really is a hazard?
