This floods regularly, much like this. Please fix the drain urgently. Photos taken November 15 2020

  • Thank you for your report; the repair has been added to our programme of works.
    Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be carried out as we programme the work on a priority basis (in line with our Highway Inspection Policy). This does mean that sometimes planned programme times may need to be changed due to priority based working.
    Please be assured this problem is on our list of works to be carried out. We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of our Highways Inspection Policy which can be accessed via the link below:

  • The original photo a month ago was bad but now it is always like the attached photo today. The road is very rarely not flooded this time of year. If I added more photos would that get it done more quickly? John Cadman

  • I attach a few photographs taken this morning. The road has been permanently flooded for the past couple of weeks and now the footpath at that junction is getting all the silt and over flow water. This is used by parents from the Coop car park to the school.

    I do not know how to escalate this. It is not an emergency but it is very poor not to have had any interest or response. Any advice?
