Crossing Island not safe for public

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights & crossings problems with timings category by Athavan Arunachalam at 11:51, Tue 17 November 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Following the recent changes to the crossing between London Road and Micklefield Road / Ryemead Way, it has become unsafe for public to safely cross. There crossing island has become extremely narrow with no barriers to protect pedestrians from crossing. Furthermore, as there is no Yellow markings present, motorists jump between lanes and lights on London Road (Westbound) restricting pedestrians from crossing and getting into near accidents.

Please can this be looked into as a matter of urgency as this is reason issue towards public safety.
