Whole area prone to extreme flooding
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 18:47, Tue 17 November 2020
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later
This area of Gorelands Lane has had at least TWO attempts to construct suitable soakaways and improved boreholes - THEY DON'T WORK UNLESS THE GULLIES ARE EMPTIED AND GUTTERS KEPT CLEAR!!! The lane now resembles an inland sea after every shower. It's been so for MONTHS. DO SOMETHING!!! I EXPECT THERE IS A LOT OF TEA BEING DRUNK WHILE THIS PROBLEM REMAINS UNTENDED.

Thank you for your report; the repair has been added to our programme of works.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be carried out as we programme the work on a priority basis (in line with our Highway Inspection Policy). This does mean that sometimes planned programme times may need to be changed due to priority based working.
Please be assured this problem is on our list of works to be carried out. We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of our Highways Inspection Policy which can be accessed via the link below:
