The bottom end of Lower Green Lane, Chearsley

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category by John Nicholas Howard at 16:41, Thu 19 November 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

A blockage somewhere in drainage system is causing overflowing on one of the drains in Lower Green Lane, Chearsley, following heavy rain.

This in turn is causing damp in the cellar of an adjacent property - Cloverdale - owners Mr & Mrs D.Sampson.

A full investigation of the run off within the system is neccessary - and initial clearance of the ditch at the bottom of Lower Green Lane may provide clues to the layout of the drainage system, which hopefully allow a permanent resolution of the problem. The owner of an adjacent property - Long Meadow, Ann Persson - has given permission for equipment to carry out the clearance work to access the ditch via the gate at the top end of her field, providing proper notice of the works is given
