Drains in the road blocked

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category by Stephen Taylor at 09:23, Thu 10 December 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

There are about three drains here along the road which one can see are completely blocked when you look down into them. When there is heavy rain this leads to major flooding of the road at this point. Flooding has been previously reported by someone else. This report is to ask that these drains be cleared immediately as part of a process to prevent future flooding.

  • Please note that the road is flooded again now after the recent rains. If you are not able to clear the drains, then at least put warning signs on Hyde Heath Road before the bend into the village to say that there may be a traffic queue round the corner due to flooding. This is now a dangerous corner.
