Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights problem at temporary roadworks category anonymously at 13:23, Wed 23 December 2020

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

There are 4 way traffic lights on a junction with no roadworks in progress, no obstruction and no good reason for them being there. They have been there for so long that many drivers are choosing to ignore them.i witnessed a near miss last week when a white van, understandably frustrated by the situation, turned right on a red light and was nearly in collision with a tipper truck. These lights have been in situ for several months and causing considerable frustration, and more importantly danger to road users. A review of the need for these lights should be under taken ASAP, as well as consideration of alternative, more appropriate traffic control. I have previously reported this matter and have not received a reply, despite BCC claiming they have sent a reply to my junk folder.
