Blocked drain on corner of Buckland village road and New Road

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category by Cllr Carole Paternoster at 11:33, Mon 4 January 2021

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later

There is a blocked drain (full of mud and gravel) at the corner of Buckland village road and New Road (outside Field Corner). This is due to debris being washed from New Road during heavy rain. This drain blocks regularly and has to be cleared repeatedly, hence the previous notifications of this same problem last year, which were cleared. When this drain is blocked water from New Road runs across the village road to the gullies on the opposite side of the road and causes potholes.
