Zebra Crossing outside Wexham A&E & Main Reception

Reported via desktop in the Street light dim category anonymously at 11:37, Friday 8 January 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

This was reported in Sept 2020 but Slough Borough Council say you are responsable for this crossing.

The crossing markings have faded so vehicles are approaching at speed. The yellow lights are not clearly visable and are too dim. This means when NHS staff use the crossing, it causes several near misses due to the speed of vehicles approaching (especially from South Bucks)

THIS IS THE ONLY A&E UNIT FOR SOUTH BUCKS.

  • Our street lighting crew have attended the fault and found that either the equipment is damaged beyond repair or has reached the end of its serviceable life.
A works order has been raised to replace the asset and this has been placed in a programme of works which will be completed as soon as possible.
