Manhole cover on grass verge between Orchard Cottage and Firkin on the North side of One Pin Lane. The poatal Code for Orchard Cottage, (my property) is SL2 3RA
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 12:20, Thu 14 January 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2477752.
The manhole cover mentioned above is above a T junction of drains, the main drain running down One Pin Lane on the north side, this is running freely. The side drain meeting this and running northwards to School Wood appears blocked. As a result the ditch flowing into this side drain at Badgers Break is overflowing and running into the garden area of Firkin and Orchard Cottage. Unless cleared the garden will flood as has happened previously.

The flooding surrounding the rear of our house (Orchard Cottage) has now returned, the drain is clearly blocked and requires urgent attention. You promised a report back to me within 10 days of my initial report (14 Jan), it is now 16 days and still no action and no report back, and situation has increased in severity. Some of the flood water is finding a way out beneath my property and I am concerned about subsidence or other damage. This issue has occurred previously and a simple drain clear solves it. We are concerned that no attention is being given to this, either practically or within the office administration. Please (and after a clearly unreasonable wait of 16 days) now give this the simple action required.
