All drains from Flats on Hedgerley lane all the way to Lakes lane are blocked
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 16:25, Thu 14 January 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2478612.
The drains from the point shown, down the incline to the junction of Hedgerley Lane with Lakes Lane are all blocked. The road is flooded from no 91 Hedgerley lane to the Lakes Lane junction and beyond. The water is very deep and it is impossible to pass on foot without wellington boots or getting soaked above ankle height. Cars and trucks are either steaming past creating a bow wave which drenches our front garden or some vehicles are stopping and turning back as it is so deep. This is a regular problem every year several times a year and the road surface has now been seriously damaged by erosion and break up of the surface causing numerous potholes. The drainage is clearly inadequate and has not been maintained as appropriate. Floodwater frequently becomes mixed with sewage and could cause serious public health issues. Please attend to this as a matter of urgency.
