The retaining wall for the road in the pond has collapsed
Reported via desktop in the Kerb damage / issue category anonymously at 09:32, Saturday 16 January 2021
Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
The pond on the south east side of the road has a brick retaining wall that supports the road and it has collapsed. I first noticed that it had collapsed last summer but the road was fine until the winter when the rainfall softened the ground and the subsurface started falling into the pond. Also the culvert under the road to the ditch that helps drain the road/pond during a flood event is blocked/collapsed. We are in flood at the moment and the damage is currently under water, repairs will mot likely have to be done during the summer when the pond dries up.
