Sandleswood End near junction with Knottocks Drive
Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 16:41, Thu 21 January 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2493604.
I tripped over this damaged pavement whilst walking my dog in the dark and fell heavily. As a result I needed medical attention.
There is no flat surface left as it is warn out and as such it is extremely dangerous in the dark as there is no street lighting nearby to show up the trip hazard.
I expect the response will be the standard "poor Bucks Council" has insufficient funding to maintain our 3,000 miles of roads and pavements and therefore has no intention or plans to fix this defect.
Now that you are aware of this defect and the injuries it has already caused, next time someone is injured by it, they can take legal action due to your failure to comply with your legal obligation to maintain the roads and pavements to a safe standard.
