West of Wesdean Lane adjacent to Badger Bottom farm
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Tony Molesworth at 12:06, Wed 27 January 2021
Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
There is a large 24 inch wide 6 inch deep pothole under the flooded section of the road about 100 yards long and up to 6 inches deep. This has been reported several times but is getting worse now the farmer on the lower side (Badger Farm) has built a levee bank to stop all water draining the road.I ripped the top of a pair of running shoes (value £100). However last week a runner from Chiltern Harriers Running Club has fractured her ankle when she fell in this same hole. initially thought it was a sprain but NHS A&E confirmed fracture after an X Ray.I will be asking her to contact Bucks Council. The road is used by lots of walkers, runners, cyclists, horse riders and vehicles. it has been an ongoing issue for >18 Months and more accidents will occur.
