Red indicator on push button unit has failed
Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights & crossings problems with buttons, beep or lamps category anonymously at 14:29, Wednesday 27 January 2021
Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
In the central reservation on the south side of Exchange Street (with the traffic approaching the Waterside Theatre from the corner where The Arc is located), the red light on one of the two push-button controllers has failed. This means that pedestrians, after pressing the button, receive no indication that the button actually works, and hence may attempt to cross the road when the green light is showing to oncoming traffic. This problem has been evident for several months.
