Directly outside Blackgrove Barn, Blackgrove Road HP22

Reported via desktop in the Road surface category anonymously at 09:49, Sat 30 January 2021

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later

Every time it rains the road floods. Ditches have not been cleared for years and neither have the 3 gullies designed to allow the water to drain off the road. The result is vehicles come speeding around the bend (it's a 60 mph limit here as we are just outside the village) and run straight into the flood. This then creates a sheet of water that saturates the walls of our house. This is a real safety issue for us. The house is extremely close to the road and there are only a few bollards to protect us from vehicles. We have seen a big increase in larger traffic due to HS2 works and this situation with the road cannot continue like this. We, and our Parish council, have repeatedly asked for something to be done about this. PLEASE can you clear the gullies and ditches ASAP so the water has somewhere to go. Many thanks
