Blocked Drain

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 08:49, Sunday 31 January 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Badgers Brake is a property that has an open ditch. The ditch is for run off water from school woods to travel down to reach Burnham Beeches. The importance to Natural England of this water supply has been made clear to us. However as you can see from the pictures we are flooding. The water is not draining away. I believe the water is also over spilling and flooding to the properties in front of us as well. The water reaches the edge of our property and then enters a culvert which runs underneath the property in front of us and out to a drain in the road. The manhole cover is between Firkin and Orchard Cottage on One Pin Lane. We have 'rodded' the culvert from our property at least 20 foot. The blockage is further down the culvert, where the culvert meets the One Pin Lane drain. We need someone to clear the drain on One Pin Lane. Thank you

  • I probably should say that this photo is of the ditch (culvert entrance under fence panel) which is about 2 foot deep, and as you can see it has completely over spilled. With the amount of rain atm if this is not resolved soon our garage (building on left in picture) will flood.
