Crossroads berryfields rd and blackgrove rd

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights & crossings problems with buttons, beep or lamps category anonymously at 14:29, Wednesday 3 February 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Since December there are 4 way traffic lights on this junction with no roadworks in progress, no obstruction and no good reason for them being there. They are put out Monday to Friday every week for the past 2 months, so someone knows they are there. Its probably hs2 contractors but there is no hs2 activity. This has been reported by others to BCC but is being ignored.

  • Response received from Transport for Bucks: "Thank you for your report. This has been reported to the utility concerned and we will continue to monitor this defect until it is repaired."

Provided no information as to who or what is being monitored. Totally ignored the fact that there is no ongoing work and hasn't bee for months (nearly 6 months).

    Incompetent.

  • BCC keeps saying they are investigating this but the lights have now been there since last summer. How long do they need to 'investigate' this?
