With a constantly blocked drain outside our house and with constant water running into our drive...even when it’s not raining heavy (as you keep telling me is the reason) the kerbstones have now washed away causing a river flow into our front drive. What are we to do when you don’t do anything to solve the problem. Are we meant to clear the drain ourselves?? put new kerbstone down ourselves?? Or build an ark when we want to get out of our house? . If we do the work, can we bill the council? We are just about at screaming point and will be if we get yet another email telling us it’s because of “heavy rain fall”. It isn’t....it’s because the drain is always blocked almost to the top and the council don’t clear it properly, if at all. Our drive is being ruined by water and sludge let alone having to wear welly’s just to get out. As you can probably tell...we have had enough and wondering just what we pay our councils for exactly!!
