Entry to Deanacre close

Reported via mobile in the Road surface category anonymously at 16:47, Saturday 6 February 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Dear Sir,

Please be informed that despite several temporary repairs to the entry of Deanacre close, the road surface and potholes are nothing short of unacceptable. They are in a dreadful condition and we have already had two separate incidents of tyre punctures, after residents driving to avoid or through them. I feel the council are simply papering over the cracks rather than fixing the problem per se.

The root cause of the problem must be tackled and the whole area resurfaced as this reporting is now becoming an annual activity. Council tax is paid on time and we expect standards to be maintained respecting this close is an expensive area to live within.

Please may you ensure this road is resurfaced sharply and to a quality standard. Iā€™m afraid if this continues to be temporarily fixed , I shall escalate the matter to The Rt Hon. Grant Shapps MP (Secretary of State for Transport). Your attention to this ongoing issue is greatly appreciated.
