Berkhampstead Road, HP5 3AT - right outside Newtown School
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 20:06, Sat 6 February 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2530291.
The road has degraded around the manholes. In particular, the manhole circled is an issue. The cover does not sit flush to the road any more so every time a car drives over it, it makes a racket as it gets displaced and then falls back into place.
It's been this way for at least 2 months from memory and is easily identifiable purely from the noise if you stood outside the school at a time when there is traffic. If the road degrades any further, there's potential for the cover to damage a car.
