Dunsmore village crossroad to No Through Road

Reported via desktop in the Car Parks category anonymously at 13:43, Tue 23 February 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Walkers, dog walkers, cyclists have started to park on the narrow lane, several times a week, blocking any access for emergency services, bin lorries, trailers, deliveries by vans. We get disgruntled delivery men knocking on the doors that they cannot reach us from the main road. Understandably, it is not their job to carry items (light or heavy, food bags or gravel) from the main road. The situation has become unbearable since last autumn.

We can squeeze by with a small car only. Particularly concerning are a couple of elderly households, should they need any emergency services or if they are expecting a food delivery by a van, it is impossible to get access to them.

Yesterday morning (22/02/2021), a bin lorry struggled to collect 3 houses bins, a neighbour stepped out to help the lovely and sympathetic workers.

On 21/02/2021, a car parked in front of a house gate, blocking access.

It would be greatly appreciated and huge help if there would be some cones or some signs that the lane is not for public parking.

I will look forward to hearing from you.
