Large pothole in the centre of the road
Reported via desktop in the Road surface category by Susan Hoy at 14:31, Friday 26 February 2021
Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
Three of us were riding horses on Chesham Lane, going up the hill towards Kings Ash (just past Timberley Lane) when a car went down a large pot hole filled with water in the middle of the road, resulting in water shooting about 10 ft in the air causing mass panic to all three horses. My horse spun around and was hit by the car on both of his front legs. The car stopped an apologised and luckily I was only about 200 yds from my house so was able to walk the horse home and apply ice and bandages, we were all very shaken up and the horse was visibly shaking. As a horse rider our options for riding are very limited and we have to use either this short stretch of road to Timberley lane or another short stretch of road to Kings Lane these are our only options. We would all be extreemly grateful if this could be fixed as soon as possible - thank you
