Bollard is not secure in the ground
Reported via desktop in the Bollards or railings category anonymously at 09:50, Wed 10 March 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2598654.
The bollard was knocked over just over a week ago by a car driving up the path. The bollard was on its side so in order not to block our driveway at all, we went out and actually put it back in. But it has only been dropped into the hole and soil patted in around it so it is not properly secure. The bollard is outside our home, at 236 Tring Road (just on the right hand side if you are looking toward our house). It happened on Monday 1st March. We put it back into the ground on the same day.

Thank you for your report; the repair has been added to our programme of works.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be carried out as we programme the work on a priority basis (in line with our Highway Inspection Policy). This does mean that sometimes planned programme times may need to be changed due to priority based working.
Please be assured this problem is on our list of works to be carried out. We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of our Highways Inspection Policy which can be accessed via the link below:
