Traffic lights on Chapel Street crossing A4155 Little Marlow Road towards Rookery Park

Reported via mobile in the Footpath / pavement problem category by Sarah Seabrook at 13:45, Monday 15 March 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

There are swish workers who have dug up the road where the traffic lights are. This is a very busy location with parents needing to use this traffic light system in order to safely cross and take their children up to Holy trinity school or Sandygate school. I can’t believe that Swish aren’t required to provide a safe crossing provision when they are making another one inactive. This has happened on Friday 12th March and now today. I have to just take my children into what is the busiest road in Marlow and I can see other mothers doing the same with prams. It’s dangerous and swish should be reprimanded. Another connected point is they also just cut off corners of roads e.g Claremont road ( joining little Marlow road) without providing a safe pedestrian route again meaning we have to take children onto the road.
