Entrance from Vicarage Lane to driveway to Nos. 6 and 8 Church Walk.

Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 15:38, Monday 15 March 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

A large and ever-growing pothole has appeared in the pavement at the point where the driveway from nos. 6 and 8 Church Walk joins Vicarage Lane. The current size of the pothole is 800mm by 500mm, with a maximum depth of 100mm. It is important to note that although Vicarage Lane is a cul-de-sac there is no official turning point for vehicles that have entered the lane from Wing High Street. As a consequence, many vehicles are turned around by using the driveway. Vehicles using this manoeuvre include Vicarage Lane residents, their visitors, delivery drivers, tradespeople, and parents dropping and collecting children to/from school. The driveway therefore suffers considerably higher usage than might be expected, and the reported pothole is one result of this heavy usage.
