Overhanging trees from Craig’s Wood next to Lay-by in Penn Road

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 13:00, Saturday 27 March 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The above trees extend over to the other side of the road and hover dangerously over the electricity and telecommunications cables attached to the telegraph poles. There's already been a few small branch falls in the last lot of strong winds earlier this year, one fell on the bonnet of a car in the lay-by. Also, a slightly larger branch was knocked off last year by a very high sided articulated lorry. This had to be dragged off the road by the residents. It’s only a matter of time before one of the very large overhanging branches comes down, blocks the road, damages the utility cabling and, god forbid, causes injury or worse. It is about time the council dealt with this long term Health & Safety issue. Thanks.
