Chesham Road pavement in front of shops leading to Sycamore Road

Reported via desktop in the Footpath / pavement problem category anonymously at 11:44, Thursday 1 April 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The pavement is extremely unsafe, The surface is pitted ,patched and irregular. There is even a lump of iron sticking up at one point. It is difficult to walk safely for anyone, but even more so for the number of owners in three retirement lodges in this road. Many have mobility problems and do not feel that they can safely use this pavement. They find access to the local shops in Sycamore Road extremely difficult and feel cut off from these amenities. Given that each of these lodges is home to about thirty owners , then it is obvious that a considerable amount of council tax is collected from them. Surely they have the right to expect to use their access to shops to be hazard free.
