Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights problem at temporary roadworks category by JOHN Killip at 12:32, Wed 7 April 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later
Traffic Lights have failed again and were on red on all arms of the junction at 1150 am 7 4 21. I had joined the queue about 5 cars back waited for just over two minutes and then overtook the ones ahead who had also just come to the same conclusion that the lights were all on red. When I got home I phoned the emergency number 01296 382 416. The friendly and helpful operator gave me the HS2 no 08081 434 434 however this is only the HS2 helpdesk based in Birmingham and they have no knowledge of the area and all they do is contact the contractor and hopefully they wil find the correct one and action will be taken I presume this works 24 hours a day. Do the police have the local contractors numbers so they can get the lights fixed when they cause an accident. The relevant contractor should put a number at the lights for emergency contact and Buckinghamshire Council should have that number to give out on Fix My Street
