Longland Way

Reported via mobile in the Hedge problem category anonymously at 12:25, Saturday 10 April 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The vegetation in Longland Way is incredibly neglected and overgrown. There are 2 street signs at the start of the street, neither can be seen due to the overgrown bushes.

We moved in one year ago and I have never seen anyone coming to do any maintenance. As the bushes are outside the back gardens the house owners do not take responsibility of them.

This road is used a lot as a cut through by school children and adults, and the messy, unkept bushes just encourage people to drop litter. There is also no public bin.

It would be great of we could get a more regular gardener to come and maintain a better looking street. I feel as though our street has been forgotten and is becoming part of the dump/industrial area that is nearby. We pay nearly £2000 for council tax and yet our street looks depressing and neglected.

Thank you and looking forward to being proud of my street.
