Reported via mobile in the Street light not working category anonymously at 17:40, Monday 12 April 2021
Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
There has been an ongoing report for over a year about the street light that was knocked down and never replaced. Finally today 12 April the crew turned up and cut off the metal bit that was sticking out BUT it looks like they sealed the hole and no street has been erected! I want to know when it will be erected.
This area is very dark and not a safe area as drug/drink people wander around Hithercroft in the late hours and cannot be seen. The distance between lamp posts is now inadequate for safety and unacceptable. Why is the street light still not put back in place? I cannot find any report to say what is being done other than it is CLOSED! So have to assume nothing has been resolved but hope I am wrong.
Please can somone in authority address this and let the neighbours in this area know when it will be sorted as the accident happened way before covid and still not resolved.
Thank you for your report which is currently under review.
We will investigate this and if you have provided an email address, we respond to you within 10 working days.
