Problems with the Willow tree adjacent to our property. This has been on-going for several years - the roots of this tree are undermining our 6 foot brick built boundary wall and are now coming through in the lawn of our back garden. The tree root damage has resulted in cracks in the mortar of our wall, an issue that I have discussed with officers over a number of years but which has never been addressed. There has also been damage to the footpath resulting in raised areas creating trip hazards. Herons Place neighbours have also periodically raised concerns about the willow tress with no suitable outcome. Clearly the damage to the wall that runs alongside a public footpath needs to be rectified, but not until the underlying cause has been addressed. When the tree is in full leaf, the footpath becomes impassable
