Weedon Road In General from top to bottom

Reported via desktop in the Road surface category anonymously at 15:33, Thursday 22 April 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The shear volume of traffic and speed of vehicles especially lorries (with or without loads). I live on the corner of Priory Crescent (no entry) aware of the resurfacing required there and this doesn't help with the ongoing issue! When the traffic thunders down the road the house and wardrobe doors shake the house shakes and the ceilings have cracks appearing. It's also having a detrimental effect on sleeping, if you're not being woken up by the shaking you are by the thundering banging of the speeding vehicles!! A number of residents on the Weedon Road are experiencing the same. The speed camera doesn't work which is a joke as the lorries have cottoned onto to that so travel well past the 30 mph speed!! Large lorries/buses can travel at speeds of 40-50 mph. There are not sufficient signs to say what the allocated speed is either, not that anyone will take notice. Is there something that can be introduced to help cut down the speed. I'm not convinced that by filling in some holes/craters that this will solve this on going issues which is just getting worse by the day.
