Wilton road access to the Amersham main Road

Reported via desktop in the Road surface category anonymously at 14:55, Tuesday 4 May 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Having Ledborough Lane inaccessible to Amersham road until the end of May, but closing the Beaconsfield old town access to the A40 for the May Fair at the same time denies access to the M40 by any route that can be described as acceptable. This is a travesty of competent planning. Moreover, previously when the fair moved on, the road occupied by it was never swept of nails left behind, which will leave the road unusable for a further few weeks (because of the risk to tyres). What is the explanation for this lapse of good planning and can we be assured the fair site will be swept of sharp objects left behind?
