You have responded saying you don’t fell trees, so if they are owned by the council you only deal with them if they only cause damage? The land needs to be managed by the council as it never has been. The trees are encroaching the overlap of the properties if they were to fall. They are a safety hazard

  • The concern for the community is that these trees are 40-50ft, they are approx. 30 ft away from the properties, the new cherry trees are closer. nothing was said about telephone/power lines, the concern is that if the trees were to fall they would land on the properties. The cherry trees at the very front next to the road are throwing up suckers which if cut they throw even more up. These trees are a potential safety hazard and need to be managed. In the 10 years since being at the property no-one from the council have managed the trees. They are covered in ivy too which leads to the eventual tree death and potential to fall on properties. Something needs to be done.
