Westdene Lane Pednor Chesham
Reported via mobile in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 21:20, Sat 8 May 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2714082.
The photos show the effects of flooding into our field at the bottom of Westdene Lane, Pednor, Chesham. We have had to build a soil bund in our field to try to stop the water flooding into our field. The flooding has been extensive throughout the winter season. At least 2 pedestrians have had serious accidents due to the severe potholes along this road, which cannot be seen when covered with water. Our field has suffered due to excessive flooding due to the drains been blocked. We will have to intensify our soil bund this year to ensure the flooded water doesn’t go into our field but this will have serious implications on the aforesaid road and no doubt cause higher flooding and possible further pedestrian inconvenience and possibly another serious accident to those on foot. This problem needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency. The drains needs unblocking and the road surface to be improved
