When the Swift Fibre contractors laid the new fibre optic cable in our pavement they blocked the drain at the end of Burne Cottage's drive. I spoke to their foreman about this and pointed out it just needed the debris removing. Next time I looked at the drain for reasons only known to them, they had dug the pavement up again and fixed 3 lengths of fibre optic trunking into the original hole. This blocks with jsut hanful of leaves, so this drain is now completely useless. My wife spoke to a rep from Swift who apologised and said he would be in touch with you for permission to rectify this. Can you please follow up on this as a matter of urgency? this area as you know is prone to flooding if the drains aren't maintained and this is only going make matters worse - thank you.
