Hazlemere Road HP10 8AD and Cherry Tree Way

Reported via desktop in the Light on during the day category anonymously at 10:19, Monday 17 May 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

The street lights on Hazlemere road (Hp108ad) are so tall they are over the top of the houses illuminating my road, which is the next road over, Cherry tree way (Hp108dq). They shine in my bedroom window, I have tried to ask before with no response why they need to be so bright, given that on every vote we have had we have voted for no street lights. It does not make the road safer as it encourages people to drive faster as they can see further. Normal street lights and maybe a roundabout at potters cross would be more effective if the reason is traffic control. If it's not, why are they so big?
