Ditch overflowing and blocked drain

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 13:03, Saturday 22 May 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

I know this issue has been previously reported however I would like to draw your attention of the nature of the problem that it ended up being left last year..

During last year when we had another long period of rain, due to the blocked drain and flooded ditch water had then escaped onto Fulmer Common Road creating a large puddle along both sides of the Road and as this problem was just left it got worse and with water flooding from the ditch and blocked drain caused what seemed like a swimming pool.

And now with the recent forecast water is once again over flowing from the ditch and if any more rain is due to come it is going to cause another big puddle on the Road eventually turning into a Lake.

EXAMPLE 2020: Last year was a very serious issue with water flooding from the ditches just up the Road, outside Fulmere Lodge, (although this has now clear,) and another flood along Black Park Road as well as the flooding from the ditch and blocked drain caused a BIG SWIMMING POOL.

I understand you are aware of it and it is due to be looked into but I feel it needs to be moved up the priority list otherwise the same as last year it will become a lake again.. If the problem is left it will get worse with water overflowing from 2 directions.

I am sorry to hassle but I want to avoid the same problem as last time Many thanks
