Hedge overhanging road affecting vision splay
Reported via desktop in the Hedge problem category by Steph Gassor at 15:55, Fri 28 May 2021
Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2755400.
The hedge on Buckingham Rd that borders Leonard’s Close was reported last year as causing an issue for people living along Buckingham Road being able to see to leave their drives. A decision was made not to trim it back. It is now positively dangerous and affecting the vision splay very badly. In order to be able to see for traffic coming from the Buckingham direction the front of the car has to be halfway across the road, nosed onto the centre white line. Given the excessive speed of traffic along this stretch this is highly dangerous. Can this hedge please be cut back sufficiently to allow safe exit onto the road for our vehicles.
