Redact

Pothole has been present for 6 months and has now severely worsened due to increased volume of traffic. The stretch of road continues to repeatedly fail at numerous points due to the vastly increased volume of traffic. Since traffic was diverted when the Marlow Bridge was originally closed, drivers became aware of the alternative route to avoid the main road and Green Verges / Spring Gardens is now consistently used as the cut through for all vehicle types including heavy goods vehicles, deliveries, tyre transporters and skips. The road was not designed to cope with the volume or weight of traffic which has now weakened the structure significantly.
