Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 22:05, Friday 4 June 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Notification from you saying that the clearing of the drain 'does not require immediate attention' is not acceptable as the flooding caused by the drain spills over on to private property.

I was assured by someone from the council at the beginning of this year that a long term solution to this blocked drain would be found to prevent it from happening. Why are you now saying that it does not require attention? I have sent photos of the blocked drain and the flooding on the pavement, so even if it is inspected when we have not had rainfall, you can see from the photos the flooding caused.

You might not consider it needing immediate attention, but I do. The flooding is going on to our property, we cannot access our property on foot due to the flooding as it spans the width of the drive, and pedestrians have to walk out into the road to pass by as the pavement is blocked for the entire width - this is dangerous.

Please fix this drain so that this stops happening every time it rains.
