Outside 103 Stomp Road. SL17NN

Reported via mobile in the Car Parks category anonymously at 08:38, Monday 7 June 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

There is a parking bay outside 103 Stomp Road which is a misued to park vans and lorries (which don't fit the bay). The parking bay is a nuance to residents at 103 Stomp Road for the following reasons: 1. Unable to use driveway as sometimes it partially blocked. 2. Very poor and dangerous visibility to turn in or out of our driveway. Can spend 15 minutes to get out on most days. 3. It is the narrowest part of Stomp Road and when vehicles are parked in that space, it causes very heavy traffic on the road. Cars have also been hit whilst stationary due to the road width.

I am requesting for the parking bay to be removed and replaced with a single yellow line. This parking bay has no positive impact during busy hours of the day. There are plenty of parking bays further down in front of the shop ( at least for 6 cars) and I do not see the benefit of having a single parking bay outside my home which makes it so difficult for me and my family to use our driveway.
