Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later
JIMI AWOSIKA, Conservative representative for Aylesbury North West. I am making this complain to your management due to the inconveniences the sellers of these vehicles have caused the residents of this particular area. The residents complained to me as during canvassing in the last election about what they have experienced for the last five years. Apparently, the sellers of these vehicles has been invading business rates and taxes for the Council and the Government. This spot has been using for the principal purpose of selling vehicles with advertising signs affixed to them, and to draw attention of buyers to the vehicles on this public domain. The vehicles with the affixed sale advertisement were YH11LFX, SB09TTE, WP14XXS, MT13YGR, SJ63LNT, BD62FRN, as at 17/04/21, and SB09TTE, HK60NBY, picture taken 13/05/21. The residents have unsecured situations all the times, with people coming to this spot for inspections; and test driving along this road by the buyers and the sellers. One seller could have more than two or three vehicles been displaced on this spot. When these vehicles were checked with DVLA, many are without MOTs and Taxes. According to Council bylaw 12.1.4, no any person operating any business shall use any road or part of any road for the purpose of storing any vehicle or any goods without the consent of the Council, and only in compliance with any conditions specified in that Council. The sellers of these vehicles are invading business rates and taxes which supposed to be paid to the account of the Council. Moreover, where they are using as selling point, is emergency designated place. I have filed complained on two occasions with reference for this report: nz13mg5, but nothing has been done. I will be grateful if action can be taken soon on this matter. We need to make our community safe, and as well generate revenue for the town council. Therefore, if anyone is indulging in an act to avoid to paying what is due to the government, this needs action.
