Ruts and high grass

Reported via desktop in the Kerb damage / issue category anonymously at 16:22, Fri 11 June 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

There are many ruts/troughs all the way down this single track road caused mainly by traffic mismanagement when the A4421 was closed for EW rail works. Vehicles in both directions had no room to pass each other in wet muddy conditions and so went on the grass verge and caused the damage. One particular rut opposite the cottage where I live is approx 7" deep and scraped the undercarriage of my car when I had to go into it as a vehicle was coming down the road. The metallic noise gave me some cause for concern but as far as I know my car has survived! However the grass on my side of the road is so high (approx 4ft) that it is impossible to egress my drive safely. I have to open the window and listen - hoping that no electric cars are coming!
