Marsh Lane

Reported via desktop in the Traffic lights & crossings problems with timings category anonymously at 06:57, Saturday 12 June 2021

Received by Buckinghamshire Council moments later

Road Closure. I understand that we must accept HS2 construction, but the closure of Marsh Lane creates a huge problem for road cyclists. It prevents access to a huge network of lanes to the west of Aylesbury. The alternative route via North Lee Lane needs to be signed with multiple "Caution cyclists" and a mini-roundabout at the petrol station on the A4010. Other alternative routes via Aylesbury town centre and the A418 are poor for cyclists. A footpath (for carrying bikes) down Marsh Lane would be an even better alternative.
